Select Shapes (FREE program)

This simple application (MS Access required) was designed for quick creation of list of shapes used in current project. Distributed as part of SolidStructural and as a separate application

Auto generated report shows selected structural shapes sizes (W, C & MC shapes available). With printed report it is faster to make basic design: stiffeners, base plates, typical clip angles or moment connections etc. All data – on one or two pages; you don’t need to open book, find table with shapes, search table to find properties of for instance W12x26, write down BF or TW value, then look for another shape properties and so on. The video below demonstrates how to input data and open report.

Download the program Select Shapes.mde anywhere on your hard drive (e.g. on Desktop), double click on it or start MS Access and click on Open button; browse to find Select Shapes.mde
